Spanish term

frente a

Non-PRO Spanish to English Other Other
Frente a esta pasividad....

This expression is one of my bugbears and it comes up so often in translations!

This kind of passivity makes me lose it.

Frente a esa pasividad, yo pierdo los estribos....

If you RETRANSLATE into Spanish, and don't use FRENTE A, you have to use: HACER.....Esa pasividad ME HACE perder los estribos.

CONTEXT IS EVERTHNING...SOMETIMES THERE IS NO NEED TO USE A SPECIFIC WORD..

If you look at how I finished your sentence...just an example..you will see that my translation doesn't even translate the word..SO, all I can say is: It depends on the context...

Of course, many of the previous answers also have their context....
