Estoy de acuerdo con “en the event of”. Parece ser la traducción más adecuada para tu texto. En otros contextos, cuando se trata de lenguaje menos formal, se puede emplear una expresión con “if”. Lo esencial es no caer en el falso amigo “in case of”.
