Wherever they cast their lot

English to Spanish Art/Literary Religion commentary on Genesis 3:10
Even in their sinful condition Adam and Eve cannot escape from Him. Indeed, their sinful condition makes them desire to run away from Him. Yet this they cannot do. ***Wherever they cast their lot*** or turn their eyes, there He is to meet them. They are still His creatures, even though they have fallen into sin, and this is His world in which they live.

Very good point Margaret. I guess I was thinking more along the lines of "wherever they go". Thanks - teju :)

“The practice of casting lots occurs most often in connection with the division of the land [...]” y aquí alude a que donde fueran Adán y Eva (no importa a que terreno fueran), en toda parte Dios estuvo.

agree Marylen : Exacto.

HTH. Saludos.
