COSTUME JEWELLERY
Costume jewellery has been provided by the Pappas family to replicate the traditional 9ct gold jewellery.
A) BUTTON BROOCHES -(MPOUKLES)
These are dome shaped and made of gold coloured metal. There is a set of five designs. The lowest button brooch has an extra diamond attached to a main ring with a chain. These button brooches were clasped on to the chemise to hold the opening in the chemise closed.
B) BRACELETS - (TSERKINO BRAHIDI)
The bracelet has 16 coin shaped units made from a lightweight gold coloured metal inset with turquoise-coloured painted stones.
Condition
The costume jewellery was in good condition.
Treatment
No treatment was required, although a storage box was made.

: yes, i would agree. in the US we say it's a store that sells accessories. i'm always wary of costume jewlery, which is fake jewels meant to look like real, precious stones or jewelry (much more limited definition than actually included in bijutaria).
