To Asker: It seems you didn\'t rewiev the sources on which the selected term was based. The first link is of Japanese origin. The websites from non-English-speaking countries are notorious for poor English, mistranslations, and funny terminology. You can never rely on them for conventional terms. The second link http://www.sierraclub.org/wildlands/wildforest/ says absolutely nothing about \'cultured forests\' but only mentions seedling populations. As a result, the glossary will offer poor rendering and may mislead our colleagues who pick up terms without rewieving answers posted by others. There is no rush to grade answers or add terms to glossary; to make informed decision in the area outside your immediate competence, you may wait for more people to leave their comments on existing answers and rewiev credentials of those who offered their answers and those who commented. You are hardly capable to do that under pressure of a rush project, but take your time and rewiev your queries afterwards. By doing that you\'ll contribute to uphold higher standards of this site we all use in our work and will eventually benefit even more from its reliable services.
Good luck.
